CHAPTER ONE

In a town called Royola lived only royals. Residents that were non royal were forbidden from living in Royola. Clyde, Creed and Clark were brothers who were the princes of Royola. Nearby there was another town called Indigo. It had lots of residents unlike Royola. It also had plenty of food since that's where all the farmers, lived. Everyone in Indigo knew about the royals that lived in Royola including the royal brothers. Everyone in Royola and Indigo lived in harmony. Amber, was the heart of Indigo. She liked helping the farmers with the harvests. She also liked working in the corn and rice fields. The farmers in Indigo used to supply the royals in Royola with food. "Counting down the days when we will plant more corn, I'm very happy". Amber said "Already, I hope that you are not forgetting that we have three more months since the rainy season begins" replied Clara. "For sure, I'll keep waiting on the rainy season, regardless." Amber said with a smile. They both continued to pick the ripe apples from the tree.

CHAPTER TWO

The weather became hotter as the days went by. Both the Indigo and Royola towns were hit by a drought followed by a famine. Creed the youngest among the brothers was worried. "What's going to happen especially now with the drought and the famine?" Creed asked. " It will be a matter of time, we will overcome this". Clark replied. "Meanwhile, I heard that the farmers in Indigo have no food, too". Clyde replied. "It's, true, it's very unfortunate, I don't even know how we are going to get food". Clark replied. "Let's go to Indigo and find out if the farmers have any stored food". Creed suggested. "Sounds like a plan". Clark replied. It has always been the messengers that bring food for Royola. This time Creed and his brothers stopped them from going to Indigo since they wanted to go and speak with the farmers, themselves.

CHAPTER THREE

That day, the brothers went to Indigo. It was their first time. They stared at how the farmers were taking care of their fields. They kept admiring the town of Indigo. They stopped at the biggest farmer's shop in Indigo. "Hello, brothers, what do I owe this beautiful visit, your majesties?" Farmer Duncan, asked. He was the oldest farmer in Indigo and he also had the biggest shop. Amber and Clara liked helping him during the harvest season. "Hello Farmer Duncan, we appreciate the food supply, it's unfortunate that we are experiencing a drought followed by a famine, we decided to come here to request for some food". Clyde, the oldest of the brothers, said. "My prince, you know that your wish is my command, I have some food in one of my barns, I'm going to get some assistance with carrying it, please excuse, me." Replied Duncan The brothers smiled and they were very glad that they came to Indigo. Farmer Duncan requested Amber to carry some food and take to the brothers. Amber, agreed. Both Farmer Duncan and Amber brought the food. Creed was delighted to see Amber. For he was drawn to her, humility. He introduced himself and his brothers.

CHAPTER FOUR

Amber was delighted as well to meet the, brothers. She brought a huge basket of food and gave it to the brothers. Creed, Clyde and Clark were very happy when they saw the food. Meanwhile, Duncan went to the kitchen and prepared lemonade." Thanks Amber, this means a lot." Creed said. "That's alright, your majesty." Replied Amber "Please call me, Creed". Creed said. "Alright, then". Amber replied. Duncan brought some fresh lemonade to the brothers. They drank and after they got ready to return to Royola. Both Amber and Duncan offered to walk them to their car. "I hope to visit, Indigo again". Creed said with a smile. "Anytime, your majesty, you know that you are always, welcome". Duncan replied. Clark and Clyde looked at each other and smiled for they knew the reason why Creed would want to visit Indigo, again, it was because of Amber. Creed thanked Amber again, all the brothers bade farewell and they set, off.

Later that day, Amber found Clara helping one of the farmers and told her about the princes visiting, Indigo. Amber had also told Clara that Creed would return. "Really". Clara said "You heard me, right". Amber said with a smile. "It's rare for one of the princes to visit, Indigo, I think that there is good reason, why". Clara said. "I can't tell, I wish, I knew". Amber replied "Well, we will find out, somehow". Clara added. Clara and Amber proceeded with helping on the farms.

CHAPTER FIVE

Soon the brothers arrived in Royola. The palace messengers helped them to carry food from their van. "Sons, we are very glad that you are back". Said the queen. "Thanks, Mom". Replied Clark while they all hugged the queen and the king. "We were able to get some food from Indigo". Said Clyde "I'm very delighted". Said the queen as she smiled. "We hope that the drought and the famine will come to an end". Said the king. "Hopefully, soon". Creed replied. Dinner was prepared and later served, everyone at the palace had plenty of food and drank some wine. The next day, Farmer Duncan, Amber and Clara went to the woods to collect honey from the bees. Sometime back, Amber introduced the idea of bee-keeping to the farmers. She thought of it as a way of the farmers making more income. Farmer Duncan liked the idea and so, he started practicing bee-keeping and so did the other farmers. "We will have a sale on the honey that will be collected this time, around". Said Farmer Duncan. "The people of Indigo are still having a hard time with the drought and the famine, the sale will be of much help as we await for some rainfall". He added. "I, agree". Amber said. "That will be of much help". Amber added. "The people of Indigo are going to be happy about the sale." Clara said with a chuckle. Soon, Amber, Clara and Farmer Duncan arrived at the bee-keeping site and started collecting honey from the honey combs.

CHAPTER SIX

At the palace, Creed was getting ready for his visit to Indigo, he wanted to see Amber again. He requested his brothers to go with him but they wouldn't go with him since they had to accompany the king and the queen to the local village meeting with the people of Royola. Each year in Royola, there was a meeting that would be held in order to address any concerns that the people of Royola had. This time around, everyone just talked about the drought, famine and how they hoped for the rainy season to occur, soon. "Hopefully by next month, we will get some rainfall". Said the King. "Hopefully, soon". Replied one of the women that had attended the meeting. Meanwhile Creed and the driver had gone to Indigo. He had informed his brothers. While on the way, they were attacked by a wild fox. As the driver had stopped to rest for a while, a wild fox entered the car somehow and scratched Creed's arm fiercely leaving him with a huge wound. The driver got few scratches on his legs. Meanwhile at the palace, the queen started looking for Creed. "Has anyone seen, Creed?" Asked the queen. "He said that he was going to Indigo". Replied Clark. "What, why?" Asked the king. "He wanted to go for a drive, he had gone with one of the drivers". Clyde replied. "I'm going to contact him to make sure that he is safe". Replied the queen. While in Indigo, Creed was bleeding. The driver tied his shirt around him to control the bleeding having managed to get the wild fox out of the car.

CHAPTER SEVEN

"I'm going to contact the palace and get help, your majesty." Said the driver. "No, please". Said Creed. "I don't want to worry anyone at the palace, let this stay between us, there is something that I'm going to do while we are here in Royola." Replied Creed. The queen was able to speak with Creed, he told her that he and the driver were safe and that he will be spending some time in Indigo but he will return to the palace. Creed adored Amber a lot but he wanted to know more of her before he could propose and marry, her. Creed had a plan. He also told the driver about, it. The plan was to disguise himself as a homeless man and observe how Amber would react to his situation. Meanwhile, Clark, Clyde, the king and the queen would check on Creed and the driver as the days passed. "We are all doing, well". Creed would, reply. One day as Amber and Clara were going to help out at the farm, they came across a homeless man. It was rare to find homeless people in Royola so Amber and Clara were shocked at first. "How unfortunate, that man needs help, let's get him some food and water". Amber said. "Are you serious?" Clara asked "We are going to be late Amber, let's go". Clara said. "Well, I don't mind being late to the farm, I'm going to offer him something to eat and drink". Amber replied Clara walked quickly to the farm while Amber took some food and water to Creed. Amber looked after Creed, she also brought him to the farm and requested Farmer Duncan to stay with him which he accepted. Creed was very amazed, that day he told the king, the queen and his brothers about everything. At first the queen was hesitant but then after she agreed to the plan. Everyone was very excited for Creed and Amber.

CHAPTER EIGHT

Creed became more drawn to Amber and planned to reveal his real identity to her. Clara started making fun of Amber for helping a homeless man for she didn't know that it was Creed in disguise. One beautiful sunny day, Creed invited Amber at Farmer Duncan's home. He wanted to speak with her. "First, I want to thank you for all the help that you have given me". Creed said. Farmer Duncan was there, too. "I'm not the homeless man that you knew all along". Creed said "I'm Creed, the prince of Royola". Creed added. "What!" Amber exclaimed, for she couldn't believe it. Farmer Duncan was shocked as well. Creed went ahead to explain why he did it that way. His reason was mainly to get to know more about Amber since he had really grown fond of her from the first time. "Amber, I want you to know that I will always be there for you, you can always count on me" Creed said. Amber was speechless, tears of joy rolled down her cheeks. "Oh my prince." Said Farmer Duncan as he cried tears of joy, too.

CHAPTER NINE

Later that day, Creed proposed to Amber and she agreed. Everyone was very overjoyed. The news spread across Royola that Amber and Prince Creed were getting married. Upon hearing the news, Clara came and apologized to Creed about mistreating him thinking that he was, homeless. Creed forgave Clara, they shook hands and smiled. At the palace, both the king and the queen were informed about the news, they were very delighted. Clark and Clyde were very happy as well. "You are very precious to me Amber." Said Creed. "I wouldn't take it if anything bad would happen to you". Creed added. "My Prince, Creed, I can't thank you enough, you see, I never dreamt of this before but I will tell you that you are my dream that came, true." Amber replied. They both, smiled. "There's something that I want to show, you". Creed said as he took Amber's hand. They walked in the rice fields. Soon, they arrived at the border of Indigo. There was this beautiful river that had clear water. "Wow, this is beautiful". Amber said. "I'm glad that you like this place". Creed replied. "I brought you here so you may make a wish, Amber". Creed added. "I want to repay you for your kindness, you took good care of me when I was attacked by the wild fox and got wounded." Creed said. Amber was speechless, for she didn't know what she could wish, for. After a short while, she wished that Creed and her would live by the riverside. Creed made arrangements and their home was constructed by the riverside. They were both, happy. Soon, they got married and lived next to the river. Clyde, Clark, the king and the queen would visit Creed and they would spend time together. Amber continued to help out at the farms with Clara. A fortnight passed, the rainy season started both in Indigo and Royola. Everyone was very excited since the drought and famine were, over.

CHAPTER TEN

One day as Amber and Clara were going home after a huge wheat harvest, they came across, kidnappers. They had masks all over their faces so it could be hard to identify, them. "Who are these people and where did they come, from?" Clara asked. "It's really hard to tell, Clara". Amber said. "RUN......!", Amber screamed. They threw down their baskets and ran as they started shouting for help. The men in masks ran faster after them. They got hold of Amber and took her in their blue van. Clara managed to hide somewhere in a bush. She went to the authorities and reported what had just happened. Clara was very shocked and she was crying, too. Soon, the news spread. Everyone in Indigo was terrified and so was everyone in Royola. Creed was very uneasy, for weeks, he could not eat or sleep for he was distressed. His family tried to console him but he still remained distraught. The whole of Indigo became sad, they missed Amber. The authorities searched everywhere but it was all in vain. They had also failed to get any suspects. Clara continued to help out on the farms. She started leaving around noon and would return to the farms after an hour. Farmer Duncan noticed this as Clara's breaks became, frequent. At first, he never paid much attention but this time around he was curious to find out what was happening with Clara. The other farmers started noticing, too.

CHAPTER ELEVEN

Farmer Duncan asked Clara where she used to go but she would brush it off and try to change the topic of the conversation. He had also told Creed about, it. They made a plan. Sometime back, Clara's family used to own Indigo but because of theft of the community funds, they were voted out by the people of Indigo therefore they were also banned from participating in any community activities. Some of Clara's family ended up leaving Indigo due to anger and nobody ever heard from them, again. The people of Indigo preferred Amber's family to be in charge of their land and they had accepted, from that day, Clara held a grudge against Amber's family due to the land dispute and promised herself that she will get back the land and give it back to her family, somehow. "I think Clara is up to something, I don't know what exactly but it's not something, good". Said Farmer Duncan. "Do you think that she could be responsible for Amber's kidnapping?" Asked Creed. "We need to find out." Replied Farmer Duncan. Meanwhile, Clara was very happy since she was close to getting the land back and give it back to her family as long as Amber stayed far away from Indigo. Meanwhile, Amber was taken to an island near Indigo, it was an hour, away. Thankfully, the kidnappers were kind to her and never used to hurt her even when Clara would give them orders to do so for they believed that Amber was, innocent. They even ensured Amber that they would help her, to escape.

CHAPTER TWELVE

The authorities kept searching for Amber. One evening, Clara decided to go to the Island, both Creed and Farmer Duncan followed her. They sailed a boat that they had hired. "I'm going to save Amber no matter, what". Creed said. "My prince please stay calm." Said Farmer Duncan but Creed was very furious. Soon Clara arrived and went where Amber was being kept. She ordered the kidnappers to remove Amber's blindfold. Clara was very angry at the kidnappers. She expected to find Amber having bruises but instead her skin was looking very fine. Meanwhile, Farmer Duncan called the authorities. "Clara, why are you doing, this?" Amber asked sadly. Clara laughed hysterically and she told about Amber about the land dispute. Amber could not believe it for she knew nothing at all since they were still very young when the incident, happened. "Some of my family left Indigo and I can't even find them because of your family". Clara said. She pinned the blame on Amber. "Clara please, for the sake of our friendship, forgive from your heart and let me go". Amber pleaded. "Oh really, how come when your family took charge of Indigo they never cared at all about how my family would react". Clara said with a smirk. Amber kept pleading but Clara kept on smirking. "Take her further away from the Island". Clara ordered. Thankfully, Creed and Farmer Duncan plus the authorities had arrived. Creed overheard everything Amber and Clara said. As the kidnappers were taking away Amber. Creed came to the rescue. "You will not do such a, thing, you are not taking my wife, anywhere". He shouted. "My prince". Amber shouted. "Take her away". Amber yelled angrily. Creed fought the kidnappers and they ran away. He held Amber's hand and they started running. Clara chased them with a small knife that she had in her pocket. Farmer Duncan started running, too. Finally, the authorities arrived and they took away Clara away after she was handcuffed. A month later, Creed and Amber moved to their new home in Royola and had a son, Axel. Clark and Clyde got married and lived with their princesses and their children, the king and the queen continued to take care of Royola. Farmer Duncan became the chief of Indigo since Amber's family handed the land over to him as a reward for saving their daughter. Clara changed and became a good person while she was at the correction center, she taught the prisoners about farming as she continued to serve her sentence. Amber forgave her friend, Clara after some time. Creed would take Amber and Axel to the border to see the river, they would have picnics too, it became their favorite place to go. Both the people of Indigo and Royola lived again in peace and harmony.
