The Weight Of A Promise📌

Ara, Amory and Reina have been very good friends since childhood. They would do almost everything, together. They even lived together. Ara and Amory were veterinary doctors who both worked at the ranch while Reina worked as a saleswoman at a shop that was next to their home. Ara used to visit her family that lived in the city. "I will be leaving for a week to the city". Ara said "That sounds really good, I hope that you enjoy he time with your family and please send our regards." Said Reina "Surely will do, I appreciate both of you". replied Ara "Awww" said Amory "Team hug" Amory said. They both smiled and hugged one another. The next day, Ara and Amory were at the ranch. One of the managers approached Amory and requested for help. "I have some unpleasant news" Said the manager. "What's the matter"? Ara asked. "There seems to be an outbreak of pink eye especially in the cows that are on the East side of the ranch. "Oh no, I'm going to take a look" Replied Amory They walked hurriedly to the East side of the ranch.

Ara had also gone to the East side of the ranch where the affected cows, were. "We are going to treat, them". Said Amory Other workers at the ranch helped Ara and Amory as they treated the cows on the East side of the ranch. "We are so grateful to have you, both." Said one of the workers "We are very glad as well, let's pray and hope that the treatment will be helpful to the cows." Soon, it was time to return home. At the shop, Reina was taking good care of the sales and everything was alright". Everyone at the shop was very impressed and they were proud of Reina. At home, everyone was tired, Ara and Amory told Reina what had happened at the ranch. "Those poor cows, I hope that they will be able to feel, better". Said Reina "We hope so, too" Replied Amory. The cows at the ranch got better after sometime. Ara and Amory were both given presents by one of the managers as a token of their appreciation. Three weeks passed and it was time for Ara to leave for the city. "We are going to miss you dearly" said Reina "I'm going to miss you too my sisters, I will be checking on you". Ara replied "Awww" said Amory " We will check on you, too". Reina replied "Team, hug" shouted Amory. Everyone smiled and gave Ara a big hug.

Ara had eventually left. She took a taxi to the city. Soon, she arrived at her dad's home. Her brother lived there, too. Ara was very happy that she was going to see her family finally after a long time. As she crossed the road, a car knocked her, unfortunately. Ara was rushed to the hospital where she got admitted. Both her dad and her brother were, informed. They drove quickly to the hospital. They were very nervous. The doctor came and told them that Ara was doing okay except that she had amnesia. "What should we do, doc"? Ara's dad asked the doctor, his voice was shaking and he wanted to cry. 'At this point, there is nothing that you can do apart from praying for her that she gets her memories, back" .Replied the doctor. "It's not going to be easy, doctor but thanks for doing all that you, could" Replied Ara's brother. Both Ara's dad and her brother felt very terrible. They called Amory and gave her the news. Amory also told Reina. They both wept bitterly and went to the city to visit their friend Ara who was admitted in the, hospital.

Upon arrival, Ara had woken up unfortunately she couldn't recognize her dad, brother, Amory and Reina. Everybody took care of her while she was still in the hospital. Amory and Reina didn't want to leave her side. "We made a promise to each other when we were still little that we will be there for each other through thick and thin". Amory said sadly "Exactly and we will stay true to that promise" Replied Reina They both hugged Ara After one year, Ara was walking with Amory and Reina in the garden at her dad's home. Reina tried to ask Ara whether she still remembers any of her memories but she was silent. After sometime Ara started to remember some of her memories and smiled. "Team hug" Ara said. Amory and Reina couldn't believe it, they were very happy that their friend had finally got her memories, back. Ara's dad and brother celebrated and thanked Amory and Reina very much for sticking to their promise.
